Big Bear Is A Winter Wonder Land

The Author of this post is Solomon Dejesus

Being more of a summer kind of person, it usually takes a lot for me to hop in a car or plane and find my way to sub-zero temperatures and frohttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifstbite. I finally had a group of friends convince me that the positives outweighed the negatives and to take a weekend trip to frigid Big Bear. We packed up, turned on the home security alarm from deals adt Spring, piled in the car, and headed off on the 10 hour drive to Big Bear.

Much to my surprise, it was an unforgettable vacation and we all had a blast. There were tons of stops along the way in iconic mountain villages with amazing food. Once we arrived we found out that there had been a recent blizzard and the entire landscape was covered in feet of snow. Our cabin was perched right on the mountain, within walking distance of the chair lifts. The first day we were able to relax and then hit the slopes early the next morning. I may have taken a few tumbles and felt like my toes nearly froze off, but I think I changed my mind on enjoying winter vacations deep in the mountains.

Upcoming sponsored posts

I really don't pay too much attention to this blog. It basically just a place where I can post the press releases that I get emailed to me because of my beer site at About.com. I don't know if many people actually read it or just stumble across it via search engines. I suspect the latter but, just in case someone out there is a faithful reader of Drinks News, I wanted to warn you that some sponsored posts are coming up. This will be totally off topic and seem out of character for the blog. I will label each one of these sponsored entries with "From the beer store" to set them apart from the rest.
