ROLLA, MO-The Public House Brewing Company, located at 600 N. Rolla St. in downtown Rolla, is excited to announce its first-ever AHA Rally to be held on Saturday, April 23rd, from 1-4pm at the brewery. This event, held in partnership with the American Homebrewers Association, is designed to give homebrewers as well as beer enthusiasts a chance to learn more about brewing beer at home, see demonstrations of various brewing methods, and participate in a Q&A session with Public House owners and brewers.
Event participants will have a chance to taste all four of Public House's core beers: Public House Kolsch, Bird and Baby Mild Ale, Public House American Pale Ale, and Revelations Stout, as well as a special seasonal beer available for the first time that the brewers, Jason Stacy and Rod Murray, have brewed especially to commemorate the brewery's first time hosting an AHA rally.
Co-owners Josh Goodridge and Josh Stacy are thrilled to debut this new brew to the beer-loving public. However, they are keeping the specific style of beer under wraps until the Rally. "People will have to come to the Rally if they want to be the first to taste this new beer. We can tell you, though, if you love good beer, it will definitely be worth your time," Stacy said. "Join us for an afternoon of education, fun, and most importantly...Beer!" Goodridge added.
The event is free to AHA members and admission for non-members is $33 (family discounts available), which includes an AHA membership, a subscription to Zymurgy (the publication dedicated to homebrewing), access to all of the day's events, door prizes, and much more. Space is limited so please RSVP by going to www.publichousebrewery.com and clicking on the Rally link, followed by the "RSVP Now!" link, or call (573) 426-BEER / 426-2337.
